The kiwi arrived in perfect condition at my home in Windsor on the morning of Tuesday, March 20th. The medium size is perfect for my display area; the galvanized iron material is exactly what I was looking for to add to the uniqueness of this memory of my two weeks spent on my roadtrip in New Zealand.

Thank you once again for all your help in bringing this bird to Canada….from offering it on your website, for going the extra mile to satisfy my desire for a size that you no longer had in stock, to wrapping it up carefully so that it travelled safely the long distance between Auckland and Windsor.

This kiwi will have a place of honour in my living room. It will be a lasting memory of my time spent in New Zealand…..and will be a conversation piece with all who come to visit.

I just wanted you to know that I just got in the Maori Greenstone Hei Tiki! It is a wonderful sight in person! I am glad that it came with a traditional wax hanging cord as well. I was a bit surprised how it was suspended through the back-a method I have never seen before!

I also wanted to thank you again for the great New Zealand Whittaker’s chocolate! It has a very distinct flavor-very much unlike the chocolate found here in the United States. Our chocolate-if its not top quality, is often bitter. Hershey bars can be that way. But this chocolate was truly unique!

Hiya Goina! I totally forgot to email when my package arrived the other day. I was SO excited to see the big korus and my bowl and tuis, but I waited until I took the box home so that the items were still in the original packaging during the trip across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. My goodness, you, my dear, are a delicate item wrapping goddess! Everything arrived in PERFECT condition. I’m proud of my growing collection of korus from Venus Hot Glass. I’m up to six of them now. Thank you for the extra gift! I put it and some other things in the lovely bowl purchased and I have it on my dresser. It’s serving as a “heart reminder” for people in Christchurch (and now in Japan) who have suffered earthquakes recently.

Hi Goina ~ Hope all’s well. Just wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know that everything came in, and despite Canada Customs and Canada Posts best efforts, everything was impeccable. Hi Goina – My greenstone has just arrived and I am over the moon. Thanks so much the tiki is perfect and I am currently wearing the spiral carving. I am teaching my Grade 7 son’s( 12-13 yr olds) class the Haka and Rakau sticks and Poi and making costumes for Multi-cultrual night in November and I shall wear my spiral to the event. They children are really looking forward to having tatoos, shouting, chanting and stamping their feet at their parents and friends. It should be fun!

Hiya Goina! My package arrived today. The resin pieces are lovely (as I knew they would be!) and you may or may not want to know that I intend to hang them up someplace, either suspended from my ceiling or perhaps in my fig tree, which I have a variety of ornaments in for when it’s bare-branched in the winter.

I told my brother that when my nephew has chewed his way through his first beautiful green New Zealand bandanna (which, by the way, is in Hawaii right now on vacation with the family) that we will “plant” it and he can “grow” a new one now that I have a lovely replacement at the ready if it’s ever needed.
