The meaning of pikorua (twist):

• The twist represents your journey in life and is a symbol of eternity. It also represents the bond between two people and friendship. The joining of lives for eternity. Even though you might be a world apart, you will always be connected.
• The twist is also an eternity symbol and represents friendship.
  The bonding between people of different cultures.
• The shape of a pikorua is usually in the shape of a figure ‘8’. The twist is a representation of two ferns intertwined. We really like the symbolism of this Maori pikorua, twist.

This single-sided piece of art boasts super fine detail, paua inlay and comes complete with stylish black base. Our artist also added a related story. And the gift is presented in a beautiful box with koru design.
