Getting Lost card games

Getting Lost is a card game designed to get you, well, lost! Grab your pack, shuffle the cards and follow the directions. We have no idea where you’ll end up, and neither do you. The cards use landmarks and features found all around the world so you can play our games where ever you are. Perfect for screen free, wholesome fun this Summer (or Winter). It’s about time you got lost!

Walkers Edition
This game gets adventurers who love to explore on foot to walk different routes and find new places to explore

Grab your pack and head out on your walk.  Your path will be decided by the birds, your shoe size, animals you pass, the weather, what other walkers are holding, letterboxes and street signs you pass. And some other crazy directions along the way. The new directions rely on elements that change every time you are walking which means that even if you set out from the same spot on your walk you’ll have a different walk each time.

NZ Bird Edition
This game gets bird lovers who like to adventure to use the birds around them to chart their course

The NZ Bird Edition will have you following the paths most likely to lead you to discovering birds and basing your adventures for the day on what those birds do. It’s a perfect way to connect in with nature while exploring and finding new places to discover.  This very special edition features 15 watercolour paintings of native, endemic and introduced birds found in New Zealand by Coromandel artist Cheryl Sands.

Bush Walk Edition
This game gets adventurers who love walking in the bush to slow down and immerse themselves more deeply

The Bush Walk Edition will have you using all your senses as you make your way a little differently on your next bush walk. We’ll connect you with nature, give you activities to do on your walk, get you to look more closely, use your imagination and yes, just enough directions to not get you too lost.

Dog Edition
This game gets dogs and their owners who are sick of walking the same route everyday to explore new paths

Shuffle the cards and let your dog lead you.  There are directions that leave your pup totally in charge – turning left with a wag, right with a woof or deciding the direction by which treat he picks or how he responds when you hold out your hand.  We’ve also re-imagined some of our favourite directions from the Adventurers Edition – follow a blue car becomes follow a brown dog.  Stop for a treat is now stop at the next cafe with a dog bowl outside.  And Head for Home (everyone’s least favourite card) is updated to head for home after the next poop!
