Looking for a cool ceramic salt and pepper set hasn’t been on my shopping list at all. However, when we saw this set, we just wanted to add it to our site. We love pohutukawa trees and have a massive pohutukawa at the front of our home. Our pohutukawa tree looks great when its in full bloom. Red flowers everywhere. These trees are our NZ Xmas tree… They always bloom from late October – December. Summertime! The pohutukawa is a coastal tree and we have many along Devonport’s waterfront. Great for taking photos too!

Our favourite NZ Masterchef winner is Nadia Lim. She was the winner in 2011. I quite enjoy watching Masterchef and am almost inspired to spend a bit more time in the kitchen.
